Privacy Policy Statement

In order to process requests for quotations and work we need to collect and retain basic information about you. For quotations this requires your name, address and phone number and possibly email address if preferred. For orders this will also include, details of the order & payment method. We will keep your basic information indefinitely and detailed information about your order for a period of eleven years after the date of the last order being fulfilled. Failure to provide the information requested will result in us being unable to process your request.

The information collected is used by Yate Windows Ltd to keep track of quotations and orders. We will only use this information to process your request, we will not use your data for advertising purposes or to contact you for any other purpose than to process your request.

For customers we will need to share your details with some of the following organisations (this list may vary from time to time) and for the following reasons: -

FENSA – For our legal requirements under Building Control Regulations

Home-Pro Insurance – To meet our legal requirement to give you a Deposit Indemnity and an Insurance Back Guarantee

Local Council Building Control – Certain works require us to put in an application with the Local Building Control office

Local Planning Office – Certain works require applications for Planning Permission

Local Water Board – Certain works require us to put in an application to build over or near a public sewer

Employees & Sub-Contractors – Installation teams who will install items at your property

Suppliers – Certain suppliers will deliver goods direct to your property and on rare occasions will need to visit site to inspect items that have been supplied by them

Gopson and Grandfield Accountants – Your details will form part of our official accounts


On all occasion when information is shared only the minimum amount of information will be provided in order for the organisation to carry out their duties. We will never pass on your details to third party’s other than those directly involved in fulfilling your request.


The lawful basis we use to collect and keep your information is as follows: -
